In order to further promote the study and education of party discipline and ensure that it is deeply rooted in the hearts of the people and effective, the Party Committee of Chang Pump Company organized and carried out party day activities on May 19 and June 15 with the theme of “Learning the history of the party and inheriting the red spirit, abiding by the party discipline and building a strong self-discipline defense line”, and made a special trip to the Yang Kaihui Martyrs Memorial Hall for a visit and study. More than 160 people, including the company’s general manager Wang Jingliang, party secretary Meng Qingda and other members of the leadership team, all party members, party activists and applicants, actively participated.
Under the guidance of the guide, everyone carefully visited the various exhibition halls of the memorial hall and carefully viewed the items used by martyr Yang Kaihui and her handwritten manuscripts. These simple and precious exhibits vividly reproduced the life story of martyr Yang Kaihui and gave everyone a deeper understanding of her life.
In front of the solemn statue of martyr Yang Kaihui, Zhong Tianwei, secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission of Chang Pump Company, led all party members to review the party oath. This ceremony is not only a commemoration of the revolutionary martyrs, but also an understanding of the core of the “proud Yang” spirit of martyr Yang Kaihui. By reviewing the party oath, everyone’s original intention of joining the party was baptized again, and their ideals and beliefs became more firm.
Afterwards, all party members walked into Yang Kaihui’s former residence to experience the frugal and simple life experience of this great woman and her family style of kindness, thrift, joy and respect. In the simple environment of green mountains and earthen walls and tile houses, everyone deeply felt the extraordinary qualities of martyr Yang Kaihui in the ordinary.
